After taking over the Dubstep scene with his dance floor bomb CMYK, James Blake now surprises everybody with the first single of his upcoming album (early 2011). ‘Limit To Your Love’ which is a Feist cover really takes you on a journey, with Blake’s very simple arrangements and his breathtaking voice. This beautiful video was directed by Martin de Thurah.
As you might know, Dimlite is one of my favorite eperimental hip hop producers. I never got the chance to see him perform live, I even missed him a few weeks ago in Belgium because I was spinning the same night.
If you haven’t already, buy his last album Prismic Tops. Seriously great stuff on there!
How To Dress Well… Sometimes you hear an artist’s name over and over again, but never check it out because the name just sucks. And when you finally hear their music you wanna tell everyone about your new discovery, but realize you’re just late on this one…
Gold Panda is another of my recent discoveries. This is a track from his latest album Lucky Shiner. Have a listen, you won’t regret it! ;-)
I have probably played this tracks every day since it was released on On Point records, and still, every time Delv!s’s voice really moves me. Here’s last week’s live set at Studio Brussel with Up High. Listen till the end, that’s where it gets really sweet!
Big up to my man Delv!s and the Up High collective => Belgium’s finest!!
Brilliant track and video! Love the guy’s facial expressions. Tyler the Creator, a name to remember…
