I’m realy curious about SBTRKTs upcoming EP; Step in the Shadow. Here’s a preview, it’s called Hide Or Seek and it’s a fckn hot track!
Step In the Shadow will be out November 1st on Young Turks.
After taking over the Dubstep scene with his dance floor bomb CMYK, James Blake now surprises everybody with the first single of his upcoming album (early 2011). ‘Limit To Your Love’ which is a Feist cover really takes you on a journey, with Blake’s very simple arrangements and his breathtaking voice. This beautiful video was directed by Martin de Thurah.
As you might know, Dimlite is one of my favorite eperimental hip hop producers. I never got the chance to see him perform live, I even missed him a few weeks ago in Belgium because I was spinning the same night.
If you haven’t already, buy his last album Prismic Tops. Seriously great stuff on there!
How To Dress Well… Sometimes you hear an artist’s name over and over again, but never check it out because the name just sucks. And when you finally hear their music you wanna tell everyone about your new discovery, but realize you’re just late on this one…
Here’s a new track by my mate Antilux from the Boya Entertainment collective. A deep dubstep track as I like ‘em! => Grab the 320 kbs download!
You might have heard of “Wich House”, it’s a new genre (or that’s how those artists call it), regrouping a few artists like Salem, oOoOO, White Ring and my personal favorite, Balam Acab.
Balam Acab is a bit different from the rest, a bit more dubstep influenced let’s say, and that’s what makes his music so interesting. You get that dubstep bounce combined with very interesting sounds. It’s good to hear some fresh sounds like these, ‘cuz I’m starting to get tired of hearing the same bass lines over and over again on all the latest dubstep releases.
The band recently released an EP on Tri Angle Records, named See Birds EP. Check it out!
Gold Panda is another of my recent discoveries. This is a track from his latest album Lucky Shiner. Have a listen, you won’t regret it! ;-)
