I really want to get your attention for this young man from Den Bosch in the Netherlands. His name is Jameszoo and hit me up with a bunch of crazy tracks. I’m trying to push the guy as much as I can, that’s the least I could do for bringing me a fresh sound, sick compositions and friendly mails. He is currently working with Arthur Verocai and has a couple things in the pipeline for Kindred Spirits. This kiddo is the future!

The second release on George Fitzgerald’s label Man Make Music comes from Londoners Jack Dixon and Rick Grant with their The Running Man EP, which is backed up by a remix from Toronto’s Kevin Mcphee. Release date some time around the end of November.

Back in May I was invited to London by the Mixcloud/Laidback fam to celebrate the release of their compilation “All School Flavors”. The whole thing is now on video. On other news, the Mixcloud team will be celebrating its 2nd Birthday this friday in Brussels at the Bar du Matin. I’ll hop in and hope you’ll do too.

It’s been 2 years that Mixcloud officially launched their online radio service and it’s been two years that we at Laid Back radio have been heavily using it: more than 200 mixes, 7000 followers and hundreds of thousands of plays.
Last May when we launched the LDBK compilation, Mixcloud offered us the best release party we could dream of in their hometown London. Now it’s time for us to invite them to Brussels.
